Prints were inspired by one of our favourite artists, Henri Matisse, whose masterpieces were deeply anchored in the vibrant lights and colour of his beloved French Riviera.
As a major figure & leader of Fauvism, his influence on the art of the second half of this century is unparalled, wether in regards to the use of simplification, stylization, synthesis & color as the ‘sole subject of painting’, both for the figurative and abstract painters who will claim him and his experiments.
