DIANA D’ORVILLE x CARE BELGIUM | AUCTION FOR AFRICA

Care Belgium’s gala dinner took place at Palais du Cinquantenaire on 5th June 2019 in the presence of Mr Didier Reynders, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs and Defense, and under the Honorary Presidency and in the presence of HRH the Princess Esmeralda from Belgium.
Funds raised through this event, auctioned by Sotheby’s, are used to support Care International’s projects in the DRC, Lebanon and Cameroon. Humanitarian actions are also part of support for structural programs in Romania, Madagascar and Morocco.
Being particularly sensitive to the ongoing refugee crisis since I went volunteering at Lesbos Moria Camp clinic last year, it is a great honor to sponsor Care Belgium’s projects, ideals and commitments worldwide. Access to education, justice and dignity, women’s rights in patriarcal societies and protecting our beautiful Mother Earth are causes particularly close to my heart.
Putting concrete actions before words, privileging substance over format, Diana d’Orville is committed to being the sustainable brand that it was born to be, driven by human and earth well-being as starting points of each of its initiatives and raison d’être. No false pretenses, greenwashing or exaggeration but a a strong desire for progress towards a better, safer world where the truth isn’t masked by well-marketed slogans.
I hope this will inspire you to join positive-impact initiatives, and give back in your own way. Every little helps!

The place of women in a country is one of the indicators that best reveals one’s good health. It symbolizes our capacity as human beings, to make unstoppable progress in a very short time, but also our ability to regress sometimes as quickly.
Woman meets the desire to look at the world with the eyes of a woman. In the line of Human, Woman is the messenger of these thousands of singular voices, crossed in a benevolent portrait.
This film is a message of love and hope sent to all the women of the world.
